Strange as it may seem, there are a lot of YouTube videos on cutting up soda/beer cans and making things.

Perhaps the biggest one is so called Penney Stoves.

While the very very small stoves or burners look interesting and useful.

I am really interested in the simple but accurate ways people cut up these cans to reuse them and their metal.

As we quit drinking aluminum can beverages years ago.

I have had to do some civic duty and pick up a mess of them on my "Urban Swamping" trips.

I have not started trying to make things yet. But soon will.

This most everywhere and forever scrap, I believe should be a serious part of your "Urban Bushcraft" hands on training.

And keep in mind easy to hand work thin free metals can have many uses. Padlock picking, making batteries, protective coverings, seals, etc etc etc.

  #Charcoal #Chair #Urban #Bushcraft I find it very odd that I never read about all the advantages of making and using Charcoal. In Bushcraft, Preppie, Survivalist, etc groups. Just a few thoughts. 1) Easy to make. 2) Easy to light 3) Almost no visible Fames or Smoke. Important for stealth and improved security. 4) Reduced accidental fires starting. 5) A far more controlled heatfor cooking or other fire uses. 6) A much hotter fire, with forced air you can Iron forge with it. 7) Can be used as a water filter. 8) Used with tree resin, makes a water proof, epoxy like glue that is applied Ina melted state like hot glue. 9) Can be used in gun power making. 10) Can be used with clay or lime to make a concrete like material. 11) Better way to store or carry wood fuel. 12) Etc, etc. etc.
